The printer comes up with the message: 'ink cartridges not recognised'

Epson printer comes up with the message: 'ink cartridges not recognized' 

 this can happen if cartridges are not firmly installed inside your printer

Definitely, you have the correct cartridges, but you must push all 4 at the same time.
They have to all make a loud click. You must push hard so it clicks properly.
We recommend using your thumbs (one thumb on 2 and the other thumb on another 2) all at the same time.
